Producer prices for Extra Virgin Oil in Greece remained relatively stable until the end of February according to the IOOC’s report.

Following the international trend for increased prices, but still not being able to capitalise on the quality of the produced olive oil, prices reached €3,46/kg, which is still a 15% increase compared to the same period last year. Italy remains the producing country which enjoys the highest prices/kg (6,07 per kg) with Tunisia breaking also the barrier of €4 with the prices reaching €4.08/kg.  The biggest producer, Spain, remained in third place with the producer prices coming in at €3.85/kg.
