Amfissa olives Written by  Friday, 23 December 2016
A very special green olive from central Greece
I bumped into this bowl of tasty Amfissa olives last night! Amfissa olives come from central Greece, in a special area near the ancient shrine of Delphi. These particular ones come from a small village near the small agricultural town of Amfissa. It is a very special environment where olives are cultivated for hundreds of years, with an expeptional diversity of life with plants, pine and oak trees, crystal clear river waters, and exceptional fauna under the shadows of Parnassos and Gkiona mountains.
