The hospitable venue of LABatoir, will be once again the heart of greek gastronomy, gathering producers, traders and the general public. Among other activities, exhibitors and visitors will get the chance to interact through various live cooking shows and seminars focused on the Greek cuisine, the importance of olive oil and the Mediterranean diet as well as issues related to PDO PGI, Organic and other certifications.
The Olive Bar will be the highlight of the exhibition, offering the public the opportunity to taste and discover olive oil varieties from all over Greece. Additionally, on Friday 5th May a round table discussion dedicated to the food industry will take place. The event will be open to the public with the main subjects being the gastronomic culture of Thessaloniki, the dietary value of Greek products and the demands of contemporary food market.
The general entrance fee is 5 euros per person (the daily ticket gives access to all special events during that specific day) while a 3 day pass shall also be available at the price of 12 euros per person. Tickets will be available at the door during the woking hours of the exhibition.
