EKEPE, the Greek Center for Exports and Promotion of Olive Oil, has just started a program named "Great Liquid Gold" to promote Greek olive oil in non-EU countries including China, Russia, Brazil, Serbia and Switzerland. The potential in these markets has been acknowledged as significant by different organizations and experts, giving Greek olive oil businesses hopes for a robust increase in sales.
This program includes support generic advertising actions (e.g. communicational messages, events, brochures, magazine ads etc.) and promotional activities (sample distribution, tastings, screenings at points of sale, etc.) and public relations (participation in food fairs and forums, business promotion missions etc.)
