Traditional greek products inspire ‘The Cooking Odyssey’ show Written by  Wednesday, 05 October 2016
PBS’ new show “The Cooking Odyssey” hosts a plethora of Greek food
Thanks to the Mediterranean food reputation for its health benefits, millions of people around the world have taken up the region’s so-called diet, eating more vegetables, fruits, nuts, herbs, honey and of course the unique extra virgin olive oil. But many of these consumers know little, about the real history and customs accompanying those foods in the places where the diet originated or the traditional ways of preparing them. PBS and Create TV are now broadcasting a new show “The Cooking Odyssey” that focuses on Greek cuisine, traditional products and recipes and introduces viewers to the secrets of Mediterranean diet and foods, from the tree to the table. The show is sponsored by several Greek companies directly or indirectly linked to the gastronomy sector. You can find the website of the show in the following link http://www.thecookingodyssey.com/
